Since 2011, Junior Bright Scholars Institute (JBSI.org) has designed experiential on site learning activities in school, afterschool & youth programs. Our challenges inspire kids to discover who they are, what they value, and how to manage life’s challenges with confidence
and empathy.
Post-pandemic, we saw the need to design family-engaging ways to offer our Character Study and Read2Debate challenges directly to Parents & Providers.
The iHomeSchooled Project offers kids elementary access to a high return, low cost, soft educational toolkit, gifted by their parents.
JBSI.org believes self-awareness and emotional intelligence are no longer educational nice to haves —they’re essential life skills, with Main Character energy.

Our Mission & Intention
Our mission is to demonstrate that engaging soft-skill challenges that help students develop their innate social resilience, emotional awareness, and critical thinking—skills they can use in everyday life. And that further, that providing these rite of passage skills impartially is not outside of our common reach.
We believe that true personal growth and self-acceptance begins at home and is best nurtured within supportive communities.
Through self discovery & how to identify and harness individual strengths and emotional assets, we empower them to navigate challenges, support themselves in real time, and build a confident foundation for their future.
Our intention is to support educators and homeschooling families with simple, highly engaging, family-friendly activities that strengthen communication, reinforce family values, and bring meaningful conversations into the learning experience.
The Connection Wisdom Excellence (CWE) challenge inspires today’s youth to excel naturally. Lead your Jr. Bright Scholar to discover that they have what it takes to achieve their dreams.
